Aviation Pilot – Aerial Survey
Kîsik Geospatial & Aerial Survey Ltd. is a premier Canadian aerial mapping organization specializing in the acquisition of LiDAR, photogrammetry, geospatial, and geophysical data. The company is currently seeking experienced pilots to perform single-pilot survey operations utilizing Piper Aztec and Piper Navajo aircraft.
Position Overview
This role is based at Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) in Delta, British Columbia. Candidates must reside within a 60-minute commute of CZBB. Successful applicants will be required to travel away from the base for extended durations, with assignments lasting between two and four weeks.
Minimum Requirements

Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence with a Group 1 Instrument Flight Rating (IFR).

Valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate.

Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time.

Multi-Engine Rating with at least 100 hours of experience (minimums may be reduced for candidates with prior survey experience).

Demonstrated ability to successfully pass a Group 1 IFR Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC).

Advanced proficiency in the interpretation of Graphic Area Forecasts (GFAs) and other meteorological products.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous professional experience in aerial survey or aerial work operations.

Documented mountain flying experience, preferably within British Columbia.
