Are you a pilot who wants a rewarding and challenging position flying a Challenger 300 (CL-30) domestically and internationally? The Pilot role at Krause Group provides the opportunity support an organization that focuses on doing good in the world through the businesses and brand it owns. This role requires flexibility to meet a monthly European routine in support of our men’s and women’s soccer team. Technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service are all desired attributes for this role.

Pilots are responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned. This role reports directly to the Chief Pilot. Pilots must ensure compliance with all Federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. Pilots are the company’s most visible representative to the passengers and must act with tact and decorum while ensuring an efficient and safe operation.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trips operating under 14 CFR Part 91
  • Preflight and post flight planning including preparation and filing of flight plans
  • Ensure preflight inspections are performed
  • Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers
  • Ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers
  • Reviewing and calculating the aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts
  • Utilization and ability to follow checklists
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Krause Group management and staff in a professional and expedient manner
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

All persons acting as Pilot in Command will meet all FAA, company, and insurance requirements including:

  • 3500 hours flight time in fixed-wing aircraft
  • 1500 hours Pilot in Command in multiengine fixed-wing aircraft
  • 500 hours Pilot in Command in turbine-powered aircraft
  • Type rated in CL30 preferred
  • Ability to maintain a 1stClass medical
  • Airline transport pilot (ATP) certificate
  • Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
  • Familiar with and ability to follow all Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies pertinent to assigned duties
  • Ability to remain proficient in all aircraft safety equipment
  • International flight experience (preferred)
