Pilot in Command - Hawker 850XP
Jet Linx, a leader in private aviation, is seeking highly qualified Pilot in Command candidates for its fleet of Hawker 850XP aircraft operating under Part 91 and 135 regulations. This full-time position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires the candidate to reside within a 2-hour call out time of the base, or be willing to relocate.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) holds the critical responsibility of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This includes meticulous pre-flight planning, in-flight decision making, and post-flight procedures, all conducted in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and company protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 3,500 hours
- Total PIC: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Total Turbine: 500 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
Essential Functions
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times, adhering to both company policies and CFR requirements.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently operate and maintain the electronic flight bag (EFB), including hardware and software applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrate exceptional judgment and proactive decision-making skills in all situations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the past 24 months is highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain an ATP certificate is preferred.
Other Requirements
- Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Hold a current passport with unrestricted travel privileges to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Possess a valid 1st Class Medical certificate and FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Be willing to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Authorize and successfully pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Be comfortable working in and around aircraft and airport terminals.
- Be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
