Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command assumes comprehensive responsibility for the safe and efficient execution of all assigned company aircraft flights. This critical role necessitates proactive decision-making, meticulous attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring all flight operations comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and Jet Linx’s stringent company protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates company aircraft safely and efficiently, strictly adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and comprehensive company operational procedures.
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times meticulously, ensuring full compliance with both company policies and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains consistent and effective communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, accurate position reporting, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proactively manages and maintains all electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications, ensuring optimal functionality and data integrity.
- Verifies the currency and accuracy of all navigation charts, aviation publications, and critical company operational manuals prior to each flight.
- Upholds a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate, demonstrating continuous physical fitness and readiness for flight duties.
- Exhibits strong, proactive decision-making capabilities and sound judgment in all operational scenarios, prioritizing safety above all.

Minimum Flight Hour Requirements
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Gulfstream G200): 250 hours
- PIC Time in Type (Gulfstream G200): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Demonstrated eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
- Possession of a current, valid passport for international travel.
- Holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or possesses the immediate ability to obtain one.
- Maintains a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and consent to random drug and alcohol testing as required by regulatory authorities.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally to all European Union (EU) countries, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
- Capability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to accommodate varied work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational demands dictate.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The majority of work activities will be performed within and around aircraft and aircraft terminal environments, requiring a physical presence.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training specific to the Gulfstream G200 type rating completed within the last 24 months.
