Job Overview
A leading aviation operator is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to operate heavy jet aircraft. This pivotal role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant transport of passengers and cargo.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Manages all aspects of flight operations in accordance with company policies, FAA regulations (Part 91 and Part 135), and other applicable aviation standards.
- Ensures meticulous management of duty, flight, and rest times, adhering strictly to company requirements and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains consistent and effective communication with company operations for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight documentation.
- Responsible for the safe conduct of flights, passenger comfort, and operational excellence throughout all assigned missions.
Minimum Qualifications
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Land Time: 1500 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time in Type: 250 hours
Additionally, the successful candidate must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, an area that allows for a 2-hour call-out response time to the designated home base.
