Captain

The Captain is responsible for leading the assigned aircraft flight crew, ensuring proficiency and competence as a required crewmember. This role mandates strict adherence to established company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, and requires the supervision of the First Officer in all flight duties. The Captain will provide exceptional service and support to aircraft owners, passengers, and clients.
Core Schedule:
- 3 or 4 crew schedules
- 10/5 or 8/6 Rotations available
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct aircraft operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and Company Manuals.
- Ensure all flight, aircraft, and passenger records are completed accurately and promptly.
- Supervise crewmembers in the performance of their duties.
- Maintain compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods.
- Maintain current 1st class medical certification.
- Review Flight/Maintenance Logs to ensure aircraft airworthiness and coordinate with maintenance personnel as needed.
- Ensure preflight, post-flight, and routine servicing of the aircraft are completed.
- Coordinate client requests for itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
- Perform duties of Ground and In-flight Security Coordinators.
- Ensure appropriate manuals, charts, and equipment are current and onboard the aircraft.
- Verify that crewmembers and passengers possess valid travel documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulations for international arrivals and departures.
- Foster outstanding client relations through efficient and friendly service.
- Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
- Ensure that only flight crew members manipulate aircraft controls.
- Document engine trend monitoring data as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3,000 Hours Total Flying Time
- 1,500 Hours Total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Time
- 500 Hours Multi PIC Time
- 250 Hours PIC in Type Time
- 250 Turbine PIC Time
Preferred Qualifications:
- ATP Qualified
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, email, and web-based applications.
- Passionate attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to successfully pass background check and drug test.
- Ability to effectively read and respond to email communications.
