Pilot in Command – CJ3

Location: Nashville, TN (Full-Time)

Position Overview

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for Light jet aircraft to support Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will report to the Base Chief Pilot and be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of their designated home base.

Minimum Flight Experience Requirements

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument: 300 hours

Essential Functions

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company and CFR requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the company for flight assignments, notifications, and reporting.
  • Manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
  • Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
  • Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
  • Exercise proactive decision-making and demonstrate company core values in all professional interactions.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • ATP certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • Current 1st Class Medical and FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Current passport and unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines) and participate in ongoing random drug/alcohol testing.
  • Ability to pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds frequently; work is primarily conducted in and around aircraft and terminals.
  • Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $182,500, determined by geographic location, aircraft size, relevant training, education, and experience. Benefits include:
