Chief Pilot - A320 - Saudi Arabia
Jazeera Airways Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Chief Pilot to lead flight operations and ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, this role involves comprehensive oversight of all flying activities, operational controls, and compliance with GACA regulations. The Chief Pilot will provide essential flight crew leadership and technical guidance, contributing to the implementation of operational strategies and risk management.
About the Role

Oversee all company flying activities, establishing operational controls and monitoring systems.

Ensure safe, efficient operations compliant with GACA regulations, GACAR requirements, Operations Specifications, and company procedures.

Provide flight crew leadership and technical oversight.

Implement operational strategies, manage operational risks, and improve flight safety, crew performance, and operational standards.

Hold technical responsibility for the assigned fleet and supervise flight crew.

Guide and monitor fleet performance and services.

Implement Flight Operations policies and directly supervise flight operations.

Maintain high standards of safety, security, regulatory compliance, efficiency, and service quality.

Oversee Operations Specifications Sections A, B, and C, ensuring compliance.

Ensure flight crew qualifications, licences, ratings, medical certificates, training, checking, recency, and competency are current.

Monitor adherence to operational procedures, policies, and safety standards.

Participate in investigations of incidents, accidents, occurrences, and flight-related events.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents, accidents, hazards, and operational occurrences.

Review investigation findings and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Promote a proactive safety culture and address operational risks.

Coordinate with the Director of Flight Operations and other departments to resolve operational issues.
Requirements

Possess a GACA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on A320 aircraft.

Demonstrated knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements, the company Air Operator Certificate, Operations Specifications, and necessary standards for safety, security, and efficiency.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills.

Basic knowledge of incident and accident investigation concepts.

Advanced Safety Management System (SMS) and Human Factors (HF) training.
