Second Officer - Commercial Airline Operations
This role requires an individual with a proven track record in commercial aviation, demonstrating proficiency in operating multi-engine aircraft within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Flight Time Requirements:
- 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time serving as Pilot in Command in Part 121 operations, as outlined in FAR § 121.436(a)(3). Applicants must provide verifiable documentation of this flight time.
- OR 200 hours as Second in Command at a Part 121 carrier (FAR § 121.436(a)(3)).
- OR 200 hours as Pilot in Command at a Part 91 carrier operating a multi-engine turbine-powered fixed-wing or powered-lift aircraft, holding an Airline Transport Pilot License and applicable type rating (FAR § 91.1053(a)(2)(i)).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Second in Command during the transportation of passengers, mail, freight, or other commercial purposes.
- Assume responsibility for all aspects of flight operations, encompassing preflight procedures, aircraft inspections, documentation review, safety protocols, and post-flight duties.
- Adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Company Flight Procedures, and Company Policies for all scheduled flights and routes, prioritizing the safety of all passengers and crew members.
