Position Summary:
Perform as a L-382G type rated pilot, to include operating for a Part 125 operation CONUS and OCONUS
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Shall have and maintain a FAA Class I medical
Must be current with all relevant FAA regulations
Must be able to travel overseas 4-7 months per year; in 45-60 day blocks (this can varying dependent on a number of variables)
Must be able to utilize a wide range of weather, flight, and mission planning software e.g., FalconView, JeppView, FlightDeck, et cetera.
Ensure flights are conducted in the safest manner possible; determining all flight/mission/risk parameters
Must be able to operate aircraft into and out of sparsely populated mountainous/desert terrain and heavily populated urban areas often under adverse conditions
At times live in austere or sub-standard living conditions overseas
Must have the ability to achieve and maintain currency/proficiency as a Captain (achieve Captain status in less than 36 months)
Must maintain aircraft flight logs and records
Incumbent must be able to fly to ATP standards on employment (FAA-S-8081-5 and FAA-S-8081-20), and must be able obtain ATP within 48 months of employment
Work at varying cabin altitudes and conditions performing crewmember duties
Perform job tasks in a variety of environmental conditions, in extreme temperatures, at high elevations, in dusty conditions, for extended and irregular hours, near fumes, in stressful conditions, under high noise conditions
Shall be able to prepare written documents such as daily flight reports, log sheets, test reports, and other company reports in a clear and concise manner
Perform as a rated aircraft pilot, as First Officer (FO) and eventual Captain. Candidates will be assigned flight duties commensurate with their professional qualifications and experience; company operates Lockheed L-100-30/L-382G cargo aircraft. All flight (FL) codes are deployable positions, CONUS and OCONUS travel is required.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
FAA commercial aircraft with instrument rating, 1,200 hours (600 hours of which must be in a large twin-turbo prop aircraft).
Applicants shall have a minimum of 100 hours of NVG experience.
Also, applicants must have held a flying position (civil or military) within the preceding year.
Must have an undergraduate degree (preferred graduate degree)
Must have FAA commercial with instrument rating
Must have current FAA Class I medical with ATP, without ATP Class II
Preferred candidates are type rated in L-382G operated aircraft, Part 125 PIC, and ATP
Desired Qualifications:
ATP certificate, MEI, U.S. military experience, flight experience in C-130/L-382G operated aircraft (type rating preferred), and international flight.
Candidates will have familiarity with aircraft, airmen, airspace and operating FARs; highly skilled and familiar with a range of aviation best practices, concepts and procedures.
