Fixed-Wing King Air Pilot - Medical Air Transportation
Our organization offers a compelling opportunity for a skilled and experienced Fixed-Wing King Air Pilot to join our team, providing vital medical air transportation services. - Annual Salary: $95,725.98 - $105,298.57
- Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 (upon successful completion of training/checkride; no training contract required)
- Retention Bonus: $40,000 (payable after a six-month waiting period, as part of a three-year program)

- 7-day on/7-day off schedule
Responsibilities:
- Partner with medical professionals to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients to various locations and facilities.
- Maintain aircraft readiness according to all applicable manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and company procedures, including pre-flight inspections and aircraft cleaning.
- Adhere to meticulous record-keeping practices, accurately documenting flight details, load manifests, and other relevant information.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, medical facilities, and external partners.
- Provide comprehensive shift change briefings to incoming pilots and teams, adhering to all company reporting protocols.
- Uphold personal accountability for maintaining all required certifications and participating in ongoing ground and flight training programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) rating; ATP certification must be obtained within five years of employment.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- 2,500 total flight hours.
- 2,000 fixed-wing hours.
- 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- 500 cross-country hours.
- 500 multi-engine hours.
- 100 night hours.
- 75 instrument hours (50 actual).
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. Duties may include de-icing the aircraft, assisting with towing and hangar maneuvering, and preparing the aircraft for flight. The role involves physical demands such as standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Assistance with patient loading may be required, involving lifting up to 70 lbs. Candidates must possess excellent close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
