Key Responsibilities
- The pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient aerial transport of patients to and from designated locations and medical facilities, working in close coordination with a specialized team of medical professionals.
- Ensuring the continuous operational readiness of the aircraft for all flight dispatches, meticulously adhering to established company protocols, aviation regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, monitoring aircraft performance during flight, and maintaining precise flight logs and all required documentation.
- Contributing proactively to a strong culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork within both the aviation and medical transport environments.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate with a Helicopter Instrument Rating.
- A valid and current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
- Candidates are required to have at least 1,500 hours of helicopter flight time.
- A significant 1,000 hours of Helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time is essential for this role.
