Job Summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a professional Pilot for Owner Services to provide on-site flight support under the ProOwnership management agreement. The selected candidate will reside within a two-hour drive of the aircraft base in Georgetown, TX, to manage daily flight activities, including scheduling, trip planning, and comprehensive aircraft care. The pilot will collaborate with the Manager, ProOwnership Maintenance to ensure airworthiness and maintenance compliance, while working alongside the Manager, ProOwnership Operations to deliver a superior ownership experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Enhance the ownership experience by providing expert knowledge on Citation and King Air systems, avionics, and flight characteristics.
  • Act as a liaison between the aircraft owner and Textron Aviation, representing all party interests fairly under the established agency agreement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all remotely based flight operation matters.
  • Communicate effectively with owners regarding Pilot-In-Command responsibilities, safety standards, and efficient aircraft utilization.
  • Maintain a solution-driven mindset to resolve operational challenges.
  • Conduct preflight and post-flight inspections, reporting mechanical or cosmetic discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager and Service Centers to ensure high quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate required aircraft inspections and ensure certification to MNPS/RVSM/RNP standards for domestic and international travel.
  • Manage aircraft flight schedules in collaboration with the account manager, ensuring all flights adhere to the operations manual regarding duty limits, rest requirements, runway lengths, and weather minimums.
  • Maintain full compliance with FAA and ICAO regulations and local operating procedures.
  • Ensure personal flight currency and training compliance, proactively notifying the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management of upcoming expirations.
  • Participate in mandatory training, including initial/recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures, crew coordination, and international procedures.
  • Execute day-to-day department management duties, including maintaining flight logs, updating navigation equipment, managing flight documentation, and performing light aircraft cleaning and storeroom duties.
  • Coordinate vacation schedules with the assigned account manager.
