Zachry Group | C680 First Officer

Zachry Group's corporate aviation department is seeking an experienced First Officer / Second-in-Command (SIC) to join their team in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves operating a Cessna Citation Sovereign (CE-680) under Part 91 operations, supporting the Pilot-in-Command in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of flights. The position is integral to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and discretion within an executive flight operation.

About the Role

The First Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for safe and efficient aircraft operations. Responsibilities include maintaining awareness of airworthiness, weather, regulations, and air traffic control procedures. The role requires active participation in the department's Safety Management System (SMS), adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and contributing to safety initiatives. The First Officer will also assist with passenger service, baggage handling, and other assigned duties, reporting to the Chief Pilot or Aviation Manager.

Requirements

• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Valid U.S. passport with the ability to travel internationally
• Valid driver's licence
• English language proficiency
• Ability to reside within one hour of San Antonio International Airport (KSAT) or relocate
• Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and occasional international)
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as operational needs require
• Experience operating multi-crew aircraft
• Current or previous qualification in turbojet aircraft
• Clean FAA, DOT, and DOJ records with no violations or deviations within the past seven years

Qualifications

• Type rating in the Citation Sovereign (CE-680) is required.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine privileges is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of corporate aviation experience is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2,000 hours total flight time is preferred.
• 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time is preferred.
• 100 hours instrument time is preferred.
• 150 hours night time is preferred.
• 500 hours turbine time is preferred.
