Pilot in Command (PIC) - San Antonio, TX

This position requires an experienced and highly qualified pilot to assume the responsibilities of Pilot in Command for a variety of flight operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills and a strong commitment to safety, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 135 requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 3,000 hours of flight time in airplanes is required.
  • Location: The successful candidate must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, San Antonio, TX.
  • Type Rating: A current Beechcraft BE-400 PIC Type Rating is essential, or the ability to obtain one promptly.
  • Multi-Engine Experience: 500 hours of experience piloting multi-engine land airplanes is mandatory.
  • PIC Experience: At least 1,500 hours of experience as Pilot in Command in airplanes is required.

Responsibilities:

As Pilot in Command, the individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flights. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Adhering to all applicable FAR Part 135 regulations and procedures.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and vigilance throughout all flight operations.
  • Making sound decisions regarding flight planning, execution, and emergency procedures.
  • Effectively communicating with crew members, passengers, and air traffic control.
  • Ensuring the aircraft and its systems are in proper working order prior to and during flight.
  • Maintaining accurate flight records and documentation.
  • Representing the company professionally at all times.
