Inflight Training Instructor - Cheyenne, WY

Frontier Airlines is seeking a qualified Instructor of Inflight Training to join their team in Cheyenne, WY. This full-time position will be responsible for conducting FAA and DOT regulated Initial, Recurrent, and Requalification training, ensuring full compliance with all relevant FAA regulations related to flight attendant training.

The Inflight Training Instructor will oversee flight attendant trainees during initial training, including performance assessment, management, counseling, and coaching. The instructor will also be responsible for the administration of progressive counseling and, when necessary, termination of trainees. The role includes writing, designing, producing, and disseminating annual recurrent computer-based training. The Instructor provides support to line trainers as needed and performs needs analysis, design, development, and production of training curriculum and materials to meet FAA requirements and corporate objectives. Maintaining qualification as a Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant is required. The individual will oversee Inflight contract trainers and facilitators during training periods and assist with writing and revising the Flight Attendant Manual. Participation in special projects and committees, providing constructive feedback to management and the flight attendant training team, and maintaining records of all training activities, participants, and results are also essential functions of this role.

Additional functions include monitoring and coordinating correspondence with the FAA, coordinating the completion of training-related forms, responding to flight attendant inquiries, visiting other airlines' training facilities, attending industry conferences, planning and preparing for flight attendant training, collaborating with other training departments, and supporting other departmental trainers.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), prior leadership experience, one year of experience as a line flight attendant (required), professional experience in teaching, training, or adult education (preferred), and one year of experience in a FAR 121 program (required).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ideal candidate will have current knowledge of the Airbus aircraft, a thorough understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Superior instructional, facilitation, and presentation skills are essential, along with proven ability in curriculum development and implementation. Strong oral and written communication skills, computer competency, and project management abilities are also required. The candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively with the instructor group.

Compensation and Benefits:
