- Candidates must be medically fit and able to successfully pass the stringent GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) medical examination.
- The individual must possess and maintain an excellent overall professional presentation and grooming standard.
- A critical safety requirement is the ability to swim a minimum distance of 50 meters unaided.
