Aviation Pilot Position
Job Purpose:
This position requires the pilot to conduct assigned flights in accordance with the Company Operational Manual and all applicable regulations. The successful candidate will prioritize safety, security, and efficiency throughout all operated flights. The pilot will provide leadership and guidance to the flight and cabin crews, expertly handle emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios, and maintain control of the flight to ensure successful performance and a positive corporate image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate aircraft from one destination to another in accordance with scheduled flight plans and approved routes.
- Maintain ultimate responsibility for the aircraft during assigned flights, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Minimum 2000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 800 hours of PIC experience on the A320 family.
- Minimum 5000 hours of total flying experience.
- Preference given to candidates with experience as a Training, Evaluation, and Resource (TRE), Training, Instructor, and Resource (TRI), or Line Training Captain (LTC).
- Valid licenses, including a Class 1 medical certificate and Instrument Rating.
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification, at or above Level 4.
- Appropriate Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), with an ATPL being preferred.
- Successful completion of technical and psychometric assessments, as well as a Medical Fitness Check-up for Pilots meeting Company and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) standards.
- Essential training in safety and emergency response, with a formal qualification being advantageous.
- Basic Airport, security procedures, and regulations training is a plus.
- Crew Resource Management Training is considered beneficial.
- Experience with International Air Transport Association (IATA) principles and standards related to security is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Aircraft systems, Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search, technical report writing, and presentations.
- Experience with low-cost airlines is desirable but not mandatory.
