First Officer – Airbus A320 Family
This role demands a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to conduct scheduled flights in accordance with the Company Operational Manual and all applicable Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. The successful candidate will prioritize safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort throughout each flight, providing exceptional leadership and guidance to the flight and cabin crew while maintaining a consistently positive corporate image. The First Officer will assume ultimate responsibility for the aircraft's safe operation during assigned flights, demonstrating adept handling of both routine operations and unforeseen circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Airbus A320 family aircraft to and from designated destinations as per scheduled flight plans.
- Maintain unwavering adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Ensure efficient flight operations.
- Prioritize passenger comfort and well-being.
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to flight and cabin crew.
- Effectively manage emergencies and unexpected situations.
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 800 hours PIC experience on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
- Minimum 5,000 hours total flight experience.
- Preference given to candidates with Type Rating Examiner (TRE), Training Instructor (TRI), or Line Training Captain (LTC) experience.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate and Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) preferred.
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification, Level 4 or above.
- Successful completion of company and CAA-approved technical and psychometric assessments, and pilot medical fitness check-up.
- Demonstrated proficiency in safety and emergency response procedures; formal qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience with airport security procedures and regulations is desirable.
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) training is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IATA security principles and standards is advantageous.
- Proficiency in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office suite, internet and web searching, technical report writing, and presentations.
- Experience with low-cost airlines is desirable but not essential.
