Air Arabia | A320 Captain

Job Purpose

Fly Jinnah, Pakistan's newest airline, is seeking skilled A320 Type-rated foreign/expat pilots to join its flight operations team on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This role includes an initial three-month training period followed by 12 months of active flight duties, with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned aircraft safely in accordance with flight schedules, approved flight plans, and airline operations manuals.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the safety and smooth operation of the aircraft during assigned flights.
• Ensure personal and flight crew readiness, including timely attendance, proper grooming, and regulatory fitness.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-flight briefings and maintain ongoing communication with the First Officer, Second Officer, and Dispatch Team regarding technical status, weather, and fuel requirements.
• Maximize fuel efficiency while adhering to safety constraints.
• Direct safety, security, and transit checks, and manage any irregularities or security escalations during flight operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid ATPL License is required.
• Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum of 800 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Airbus 320.
• Must successfully pass technical, psychometric, and medical fitness assessments per airline and civil aviation standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft systems, operating procedures, and industry safety/audit practices.
• Proficiency in implementing policies and procedures with high attention to detail.
• Essential: Safety and emergency response training (formal qualification is an advantage).
• Preferred: Experience in basic airport/security procedures, Crew Resource Management (CRM), and IATA security principles.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly Salary (Initial Training): AED 22,000 (net) plus per diem.
• Monthly Salary (Post-Training/Line Check): AED 33,800 (net) for up to 60 block hours per month, plus per diem.
• Overtime: AED 475 per block hour exceeding 60 hours per month.
• Per Diem: Approximately AED 184 per day for food and miscellaneous expenses.
• Accommodation and Transport: Provided hotel accommodation (Bed & Breakfast) at base and layover stations, including laundry services. Ground transportation provided for all rostered duties.
• Travel Benefits: Economy class tickets at contract commencement and conclusion; 50kg baggage allowance; unlimited standby tickets on the Air Arabia group network; MYID benefits after six months.
• Leave: 30 days of annual leave per year of service, with a minimum of seven consecutive days off per month (inclusive of paid leave and rostered days off).
• Uniforms: Provided by the company for the duration of the contract.
