A leading airline is seeking an experienced Pilot to operate assigned flights while ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency. This role involves managing flight operations, crew support, and emergency response, contributing to the airline's positive corporate image.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting flights in accordance with the Airline Operational Manual and civil aviation authority regulations. Key duties include ensuring ultimate safety, security, and efficiency of all operated flights, supporting and guiding flight and cabin crew, effectively handling emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios, and taking control of flights for successful performance and to maintain a positive corporate image.
Requirements

Must have completed a minimum of 4000 flying hours.

Preference for experience flying the Airbus 320 aircraft.

Experience with low-cost airlines is highly desirable.

Possesses acceptable industry knowledge in aircraft systems and operating procedures.

Knowledge and exposure to handle delegated roles such as security or safety.

Exposure to QA, Safety, Security, and Audit procedures related to Flight Operations.

Capable of implementing policies, procedures, and manuals as per approved standards and regulations.

Ability to perform in a changing environment with heavy work schedules and ad-hoc scenarios.

Composed, self-confident, and focused, capable of handling emergencies and threats efficiently.

Proven skills in data analysis, identifying pitfalls, and recommending cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

An appropriate ATPL License is mandatory.

Must pass the technical/psychometric assessment for Pilots according to airline and civil aviation authority standards.

Must pass the Medical Fitness check-up for Pilots according to airline and civil aviation authority standards.

Training in safety and emergency response is essential; a formal qualification is advantageous.

Basic Airport, security procedures, and regulations training is an advantage.

Crew Resource Management Training is considered an advantage.

IATA principles and standards relating to security are an advantage.

Proficient in Aircraft systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Very good written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations.

Very good English language proficiency; other local languages in the country of employment are an advantage.
