First Officer, B737
Role Overview
The First Officer serves as the Second in Command, playing a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during all normal and non-normal situations, under the direct guidance of the Captain or Aircraft Commander.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous support and collaboration with the Captain to ensure all flights are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established operational procedures.
- Serve as a dedicated brand ambassador for the airline, consistently upholding the company's reputation through exceptional personal conduct, discipline, and professional appearance while on duty.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the welfare and duty of care for both flight crew and customers, fostering a secure and comfortable environment onboard.
- Assist the Aircraft Commander in overseeing critical ground operations, including accurate fueling, secure baggage and cargo loading, and comprehensive aircraft servicing.
- Execute all assigned duties diligently, adhering strictly to the instructions and procedures outlined in the company's Operations Manuals.
- Maintain strict adherence to all company policies and procedures, including information security protocols, and actively participate in all required awareness training sessions.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Hold a valid B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type rating, endorsed within the last 24 months.
- Possess a minimum of 1,500 Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) hours flying time.
- Accumulate at least 500 hours specifically on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
