First Officer (Second in Command), B737 Operations
Job Summary
The First Officer serves as the Second in Command, holding a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during all normal and non-normal situations. This position requires close collaboration with and direct supervision from the Aircraft Commander or Captain, contributing significantly to the airline's unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides continuous and vital input and assistance to the Aircraft Commander, ensuring all flights are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Acts as a professional brand ambassador for the airline, particularly while on duty, and consistently upholds the highest personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both flight crew and valued customers.
- Supports the Aircraft Commander in overseeing and verifying the appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and comprehensive servicing of the aircraft prior to departure.
- Ensures the precise and proper execution of all duties specifically outlined in the instructions and procedures detailed within the company's Operations Manuals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a current and valid B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type rating, endorsed within the last 24 months.
- A minimum of 1,500 Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) flying hours.
- At least 500 hours of flying time specifically on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
- Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken English.

Information Security Responsibilities (ISR)
- Reads, understands, and rigorously complies with all company Information Security Responsibility (ISR) policies.
- Diligently reports any identified security weaknesses or incidents promptly to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
- Completes all required ISR awareness training sessions and adheres strictly to associated guidelines in all day-to-day business operations.
