Job Title: First Officer
Role Overview
This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. The First Officer serves as the Second in Command, providing essential support to the Captain (Aircraft Commander) during all phases of flight, including normal and non-normal situations, under the Captain's direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides continuous input and assistance to the Captain to ensure flights are operated safely and efficiently.
- Acts as a brand ambassador for the airline while on duty, maintaining high personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance.
- Demonstrates responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of the crew and customers.
- Supports the Commander in ensuring the appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and servicing of the aircraft.
- Ensures the proper execution of duties specific to instructions and procedures outlined in the company's Operations Manuals.
Qualifications and Experience
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Non Type Rated Requirements: A minimum of 2,500 hours total flying time, including at least 1,500 hours of MPA (Multi-Pilot Aircraft) time. Additionally, 1,000 hours on modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft with an operating weight over 10 tonnes are necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with Pilot In Command (PIC) time.
- Type Rated Requirements: Must hold a B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type endorsement obtained within the last 24 months. Required flying time includes at least 1,500 hours of MPA flying time and 500 hours specifically on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.

Information Security Risk (ISR) Requirements
Reads and complies with the Company's ISR policies and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
