The company operates a modern fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) and has established its first operational base at London Gatwick. Role Overview

Ascend Airways is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Type Rated B737 Senior First Officer to join its dedicated team at the London Gatwick base. This role is crucial in supporting the airline's growing ACMI operations and commitment to exceptional service standards.

Key Requirements

• Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Valid UK/EASA Class One medical certificate, with no restrictions beyond the need for corrective lenses.
• Willingness to maintain a residential address within a 90-minute travel time of London Gatwick Airport.
• UK CAA ATPL(A) or an equivalent EASA ATPL(A).
• A current or recently expired (within two years) Boeing 737 type rating.
• A minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, with one of the following qualifications:
  • 500 hours on the B737 aircraft type.
  • 1,500 hours on jet aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight exceeding 60 tonnes.
  • 1,000 hours as Captain in any multi-pilot Commercial Air Transport operation.

Salary and Remuneration Package

• Gross annual basic salary of £75,000.
• Pension contribution of 4.5% on base salary.
• Flight pay of £13.30 per block hour.
• Per diems provided while away from base.
• A minimum of 10 days off per calendar month.
• 42 days of annual leave.
• A maximum of eight days of leave are permitted between 1st June and 15th September.
• Company-paid parking at the home base.
• Company-funded medical renewals.
• Three "golden days" per year, rostered as days off at the home base.
• Loss of license insurance coverage.
