G-650 Captain

Flexjet is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated pilot to join its G-650 team as Captain. The successful candidate will assume Pilot-in-Command duties for all assigned G-650 flights, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the well-being of passengers. This position reports directly to the Chief Aircraft Commander.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes all Captain/Pilot-in-Command duties, directing crew activities and ensuring full understanding of individual responsibilities.
  • Adheres strictly to all company procedures and regulations.
  • Exercises final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Verifies aircraft airworthiness and ensures all required documentation is onboard.
  • Promptly reports any known or suspected violations or incidents to the Fleet Manager.
  • Maintains a current medical certificate and notifies the Fleet Manager of any medical conditions that may impair flight performance.
  • Ensures all maintenance discrepancies are reported to the maintenance team, and Operations is informed of the aircraft's current status.
  • Maintains consistent communication with Operations and other relevant departments to ensure the prompt exchange of operational messages.
  • Maintains a high standard of crew coordination, performing all duties professionally, efficiently, and courteously.
  • Reports to the Fleet Manager for duty assignments and training.
  • Greets passengers, assists with seating, and manages luggage storage.
  • Conducts comprehensive passenger briefings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Valid EASA ATPL and/or a Valid UK ATPL (one or the other may be in the process of application).
  • Current G-650 Type Rating.
  • Minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
  • Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Land time (1,000 preferred).
  • Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Turbine time (1,000 preferred).
  • Minimum of 500 hours Actual Instrument time.
  • Valid Multi-Crew Rating on EASA license.
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical.
  • Valid EU-Passport.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP), minimum level 5.
  • Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport and Corporate operations is desirable.
  • Must possess the legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and overnight trips as per the Company roster.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all EASA and UK Regulations pertinent to Flight Operations.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer and tablet operations for word processing, email, and web-based applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintains a professional and well-groomed appearance.

Working Conditions:

The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, high altitudes, outside weather conditions, vibrations, and chemicals including aviation fuels. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Physical Requirements:

In addition to maintaining a Class 1 Medical Certificate, the Pilot must be capable of handling the daily operational tasks associated with aircraft operation. This includes loading and unloading baggage, conducting thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, assisting with snow and ice removal, installing and removing engine covers, and performing daily aircraft cleaning as required. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 23 kg. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
