Captain, Gulfstream G650 – Flexjet
Flexjet seeks a highly experienced and skilled Captain to join its G650 fleet. The successful candidate will serve as Pilot in Command (PIC), responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the well-being of passengers throughout their assigned rotations. This position reports directly to the Chief Aircraft Commander.
Responsibilities:
- Execute all PIC duties, effectively directing the activities of the flight crew and ensuring comprehensive understanding of individual responsibilities.
- Adhere strictly to all company operational procedures.
- Maintain ultimate authority for the aircraft's safe operation.
- Confirm the airworthiness of the assigned aircraft and the presence of all necessary documentation.
- Promptly report any suspected or confirmed violations or incidents to the Fleet Manager.
- Maintain a current medical certificate compliant with company standards, immediately notifying the Fleet Manager of any medical condition (physical or mental) potentially impacting flight performance.
- Ensure all maintenance discrepancies are reported and documented for the maintenance team and Operations, as appropriate, at the conclusion of each flight.
- Maintain regular communication with Operations and other relevant departments throughout flights to facilitate timely conveyance of operational messages.
- Foster a collaborative and professional flight crew environment, consistently demonstrating efficiency and courtesy.
- Manage duty assignments and training as directed by the Fleet Manager.
- Provide courteous passenger service, including greeting passengers, assisting with seating and luggage, and conducting safety briefings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid EASA ATPL and/or UK ATPL (one or the other may be in the application process).
- Current G650 Type Rating.
- 3,500 hours total flight time.
- 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
- 500 hours multi-engine land time (1,000 hours preferred).
- 500 hours multi-engine turbine time (1,000 hours preferred).
- 500 hours actual instrument time.
- Valid multi-crew rating on EASA license.
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Valid EU passport.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 5 minimum.
- Prior experience in commercial air transport and corporate operations is highly desirable.
- Legal authorization to work in Europe and/or the UK, with the ability to travel internationally to all Flexjet destinations.
- Availability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and overnight trips as per the company roster.

Working Conditions:
The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures (heat and cold), high places, outdoor weather conditions, vibration, and chemicals (aviation fuels, lavatory fluids).
