First Officer - Flexjet
This role is an integral part of a team dedicated to piloting Flexjet aircraft for both domestic and international flights. As First Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe flight experience for Flexjet owners and passengers during their scheduled rotations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Functionally report to the Captain for all flight duties.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance, representing the Company with professionalism.
- Support the Captain in fostering a positive and professional work environment amongst the crew.
- Assist the Captain in upholding a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct, and personal appearance.
- Execute flight duties according to Company Standard Operating Procedures, including specific aircraft type procedures, limitations, and performance requirements as directed by the Captain.
- Proactively provide advice, information, and assistance to the Captain to enhance flight safety and efficiency.
- Promptly report all known or suspected violations or incidents to the Fleet Manager.
- Maintain a current medical certificate as required by the Company and immediately notify the Fleet Manager if a medical condition (physical or mental) may impact flight duties.
- Assist the Captain with administrative tasks related to the flight as requested.
- Promote crew coordination, conducting all duties in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Report to the Fleet Manager for duty assignments and training.
- Greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage storage as required.
- Conduct passenger briefings according to procedures.
- Perform other duties as required by the business.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Valid EASA ATPL and a Valid UK ATPL (one or the other may be in the process of application).
- Minimum 2,500 hours Total Time.
- 500 hours Pilot in Command Under Supervision time.
- 250 hours Multi Pilot Instrument Time.
- ME-IR (A) on EASA License.
- MCC Course certificate or MP Rating on EASA License.
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical.
- Valid EU-Passport.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP), minimum level 5.
- Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport and Corporate operations desirable.
- Must possess the legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and overnight trips.
- Employment is conditional upon successful completion of Initial Training, including a Type Rating on the assigned fleet.
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of all applicable EASA and UK Regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills are essential for successful performance.
- Proficiency in computer skills to operate word processing, email, and web-based applications.
- Passion for meticulous attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
