Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1000 hours of total flight experience is required.
  • Type Rating: A specific type rating is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Flight Time Specifics: Candidates must possess a minimum of 250 hours of Multi-Pilot Instrument Time. A valid MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) Course certificate or an MP (Multi-Pilot) Rating on a UK CAA License is mandatory. Furthermore, an advanced UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) qualification is essential, or the successful completion of training and checking within the preceding three years in accordance with ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part-ORO) is required.
  • Preferred Experience: While not obligatory, an EASA ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) and a valid medical certificate are highly desirable. Experience exceeding 150 hours of Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time is also preferred. Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport and Corporate operations is considered an advantage.
  • Required Licenses and Ratings: A Frozen ATPL, Instrument Rating (IR), MCC, Multi-Engine (ME), and UPRT qualification are mandatory.
  • License Jurisdiction: The role is open to holders of a UK CAA License.
  • Medical Requirements: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
  • English Language Proficiency: An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 is required.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must possess the legal right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Additional Requirements and Attributes

  • Candidates must hold a valid passport and have the ability to travel internationally, including into and out of Europe, and to all destinations served by Flexjet.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and undertake overnight trips is essential.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of initial training, which includes obtaining a Type Rating on the assigned fleet.
  • A working knowledge of all applicable EASA Regulations is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities are critical for success in this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills are necessary to perform duties effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, email, and web-based platforms, is expected.
  • A passionate attention to detail and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment are paramount.
  • Candidates are expected to present a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is a desirable qualification.
