Position Summary
Executive Jet Management is inviting applications from skilled and dedicated aviation professionals for the position of Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 550 (G550) aircraft, based at St. Paul, MN (KSTP). This is a pivotal role within a four-pilot operation, expertly supported by two dedicated Maintenance Technicians, primarily conducting domestic flights with occasional international travel. The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations while delivering an exceptional service experience to our valued clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercises final authority and responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Gulfstream 550 aircraft during all phases of flight.
- Strictly adheres to all company policies, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and international aviation standards.
- Provides a superior level of professional service and comfort to passengers, upholding Executive Jet Management's reputation for excellence.
- Collaborates effectively with flight crew, maintenance personnel, and ground staff to ensure seamless and coordinated operations.
- Maintains a high degree of situational awareness and exercises sound judgment in dynamic operational environments.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience and Certifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional aviation experience, with a significant background in corporate or business aviation operations.
- Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a Gulfstream 550 (G550) Type Rating is required.
- A Type Rating for the Gulfstream 650 (G650) is considered a distinct advantage.
- Must be able to successfully perform all essential functions and duties associated with the Pilot in Command position.
Minimum Flight Time
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Jet Time: 500 hours
