The Role:
As a Pilot (First Officer) at NetJets, the individual serves as a proud ambassador, responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience while upholding an exemplary safety record on every flight. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation but also ensuring an exceptional service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. This role commands the largest and most diverse private jet fleet, flying influential individuals to desirable destinations across the globe. NetJets' policies and procedures prioritize safety, offering pilots the flexibility, support, and resources needed to elevate their careers and enhance their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing according to FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Greets Owners/passengers pre-flight, provides introductions, briefs them on the specific flight/trip, verifies itinerary, provides weather updates, conducts safety briefings, and explains any changes.
- Delivers necessary in-flight service, including handling alcohol and serving catering.
- Loads and properly stows all baggage on the aircraft as needed.
- Handles and conducts flights for Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke.
- Acts as the final authority on the aircraft regarding all areas of operation, including compliance with applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serves as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from their arrival at the FBO until safe landing and departure from the final FBO.
- Communicates any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller on duty for their fleet.
- Completes all required paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Must hold a written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Must possess a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit required.
- Must meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating, in accordance with 14 CFR §61.160, including:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Total flight time experience of 1,500 hours (or 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or appropriate university R-ATP certificate).
- 200 hours of cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).
- 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- The ATP written exam must be completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
- No specific years of experience specified.
- Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Must be able to work varying hours, including day and night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrates extreme flexibility and the ability to adjust to rapid changes.
- Must effectively manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times during a tour.
- Duty periods may extend up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight consecutive days and may involve different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
- While on duty, may be away from home for seven or more days and nights, staying in hotels.
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Must pass the Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Must possess a valid State driver's license.
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance, capable of making a positive impression and effectively interacting with passengers.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Demonstrates the ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, from both a technical and passenger-service perspective.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must be able to work around and handle/care for animals prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Must be able to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $86,015 - $117,706.
