Responsibilities:
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring a superior and safe air transportation experience on each flight. The First Officer is the face of NetJets, providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation, but also an exceptional service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. Specific duties include:
- Operating the aircraft safely from taxi, take-off, and landing, adhering to FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Greeting Owners/passengers pre-flight, making introductions, briefing them on the specific flight/trip, verifying itinerary, providing weather updates and safety briefings, and explaining any changes to the itinerary.
- Delivering in-flight service as needed, including handling alcohol and serving catering.
- Loading and properly stowing baggage on the aircraft as needed.
- Handling and conducting flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Acting as the final authority on the aircraft with respect to all areas of operation, including compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Acting as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe landing at the final destination and departure from the final FBO.
- Communicating maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.
- Completing paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Flight time experience:
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.

Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
