Position Overview:
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all FAA regulations, OEM procedures, NetJets manuals, and standard operating practices. The incumbent serves as a brand ambassador, providing exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers. This includes pre-flight briefings, in-flight service, and clear communication with all stakeholders. The First Officer acts as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from initial arrival at the FBO until the completion of the flight.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently, in compliance with all regulations and NetJets policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
- Provide attentive and courteous in-flight service, including the handling of alcohol and catering.
- Load and stow baggage properly, ensuring passenger convenience and aircraft safety.
- Handle flights for passengers with pets and those who smoke.
- Act as the final authority on all areas of aircraft operation.
- Maintain open communication with NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC) regarding any aircraft discrepancies.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written examination completed.
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating:
- Minimum age of 21
- 1,500 hours total flight time OR 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate OR 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification OR 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
- 200 hours cross-country flight time
- 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time
- 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings)
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated, excludes simulator time)
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional flexibility to accommodate rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty.
- Capable of working long hours (up to 14 hours per day for up to 8 days), across multiple time zones and weather conditions.
- Must be able to secure required airport and security badges.
- Valid State driver's license
- Proficient in English (oral and written)

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $69,932 - $95,696. NetJets offers competitive benefits and potential for additional earnings through overtime pay, shift differential pay, quarterly bonuses, and annual discretionary bonuses.
