First Officer Pilot – West Region

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, adhering to all FAA guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures. This individual will also serve as a NetJets ambassador, delivering a premium travel experience to every passenger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and compliant operation of the aircraft, from taxi to landing, adhering to all FAA regulations, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide exceptional service to passengers, including pre-flight greetings, briefings, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety instructions.
  • Manage in-flight service, including the handling of alcohol and catering.
  • Load and secure passenger baggage in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Comply with regulations and procedures for transporting passengers with pets and those who smoke.
  • Serve as the ultimate authority on the aircraft regarding all operational matters, including adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between passengers and NetJets, from arrival at the FBO to safe arrival at their final destination.
  • Report any aircraft maintenance discrepancies or abnormalities to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete associated paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completed.
  • FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP certificate with multi-engine rating, with 1,500 hours total flight time or equivalent per FAA regulations.
  • First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time.
  • 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot in Command time.
  • 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated).
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including day and night, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to manage rest for flight duty readiness.
  • Must be able to pass TSA required background screening.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
  • Ability to work around animals and manage flights for passengers who smoke.

Salary: Base salary range is $69,932 - $95,696 annually.
