The First Officer is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, adhering to all FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities include pre-flight briefings for Owners/passengers, in-flight service, baggage handling, and acting as the final authority on the aircraft regarding all aspects of operation. This individual will also serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience from arrival to departure. This position requires the ability to communicate any maintenance discrepancies, and to complete associated paperwork.
Candidates must hold a written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or meet the requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP with multi-engine rating and possess a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate. Minimum qualifications include: at least 21 years of age; 1,500 hours total flight time (or reduced hours with specific university or military qualifications); 200 hours cross-country flight time; 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time; 100 hours of night flying; 75 hours of instrument time; 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time. A FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit, valid passport, and authorization to work in the U.S. are required.
Ideal candidates will be adaptable, collaborative, service-oriented, and demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills. They must be able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and manage their rest to ensure preparedness for flight duty. Additionally, they should be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, work around animals, and be able to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

The base salary range for this position is $69,932 - $95,696, with opportunities for overtime, shift differential pay, and bonuses depending on performance and role.
