First Officer Pilot – Midwest Region

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), the Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Provide exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers, including pre-flight greetings, flight briefings, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety briefings.
- Deliver in-flight service as required, including handling of alcohol and catering services.
- Load and properly stow baggage on the aircraft.
- Conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Act as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, from arrival at the FBO to departure at the final destination.
- Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Written Exam completed.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must meet the requirements for an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160).
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Flight Time Experience:
- 1,500 hours total flight time, or
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest effectively for flight duty.
- Ability to work long duty periods (up to 14 hours per day for up to 8 days) across different time zones and weather conditions.
- Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time (seven or more days and nights).
- Ability to secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Demonstrated service-oriented mindset with a neat, well-groomed appearance and ability to make a positive impression.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions with attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, or 10 pounds constantly.
- Ability to work around animals, including the handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

- Base Salary Range: $69,932 - $95,696.
