First Officer Pilot Position - West Region
NetJets Aviation, Inc. seeks highly skilled and experienced First Officer Pilots to join its West Region team. Responsibilities:
The First Officer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of NetJets aircraft, adhering strictly to all FAA regulations, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manuals (AOMs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key responsibilities include:
- Safe and proficient aircraft operation, from taxi to landing.
- Providing pre-flight briefings to Owners and passengers, including weather updates and itinerary details.
- Delivering in-flight service, including catering and beverage management.
- Handling passenger baggage and accommodating passengers with pets and those who smoke.
- Serving as the final authority on all aspects of aircraft operation, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Acting as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets throughout the entire flight experience.
- Promptly reporting any maintenance discrepancies to NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
- Completing all required paperwork related to flight operations and maintenance.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess:
- A valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160).
- At least 1,500 hours of total flight time (or equivalent experience as defined by FAA regulations).
- 200 hours of cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
- 250 hours of fixed-wing PIC time.
- 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings).
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight; excluding simulator time).
- 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- A current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- An FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- A valid passport, with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Demonstrated ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to make sound, quick decisions under pressure.
- A service-oriented demeanor and professional appearance.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- The ability to pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check and obtain necessary security badges.
- A valid state driver's license.
