Purpose of Position
The Pilot plays a vital role in delivering a superior air transportation experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. Beyond technical proficiency and a commitment to safety, the Pilot is responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring a memorable and comfortable journey.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Safely operate aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, providing a comprehensive briefing and verifying itinerary details.
- Deliver in-flight service as required, including catering and handling of alcohol.
- Properly load and stow baggage, accommodating pet and smoking passenger requests.
- Serve as the final authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
- Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, providing exceptional service throughout the journey.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with maintenance discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
- Meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or equivalent.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC time.
- 100 hours of night flying.
- 75 hours of instrument time.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.

- Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work around animals, including handling and care prior to, during, and after flights.
Base Salary Range
$69,932 - $95,696
