Pilot in Command & Second in Command – Challenger 300
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) candidates for a Challenger 300 based in Dallas, TX (KDAL). While the aircraft will perform a minimal amount of Part 135 charter operations, the primary focus will be on flights for the aircraft owner(s).

Responsibilities:
Pilot in Command:
The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes adherence to all company and regulatory requirements, while consistently delivering an exceptional passenger experience.
Second in Command:
The SIC reports to the Chief Pilot and PIC. Responsibilities encompass all duties necessary for the safe and efficient execution of flight assignments as directed by the PIC.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
(for both PIC and SIC):
- Safe Flight Operation: Ensuring compliance; meticulous flight planning; utilization of TPC briefing methodology; adherence to SOPs; acting as Security Coordinator; conducting pre-flight inspections; managing aircraft ground servicing; delivering passenger briefings; employing CRM and TEM.
- Exceptional Service: Providing superior service; proactively identifying and addressing service improvements; collaboration with crew and internal partners; effective conflict resolution.
- Proficiency and Compliance: Maintaining required training and recency; adherence to the company's SMS program; reporting safety concerns.
Qualifications:
Significant experience in corporate/business aviation. FAA type rating in Challenger 300 (strongly preferred). International flight experience (strongly preferred).
Minimum Experience Requirements:
PIC:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
SIC:
- Total flight time: 2500 hours minimum
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
- ATP Certificate
