Entergy is seeking a qualified Pilot or Co-Pilot to join their Aviation Department at the New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in Kenner, Louisiana. This hybrid role requires over 75% travel and will be filled based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
About the Role
The Pilot or Co-Pilot performs all assigned flight and collateral duties, operating aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. This role is directly responsible for the safe and secure operation of the aircraft, ensuring the well-being of all passengers, crew, and cargo. Responsibilities include flight planning, weather evaluation, aircraft readiness, and managing abnormal or emergency situations. The role also involves completing post-flight administrative duties and contributing to the Aviation Safety Management System.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements for Co-Pilot:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field, or 7+ years of relevant experience.

3+ years of flight experience as an FAA Commercial Rated Pilot conducting passenger transportation operations under Part 91, Part 135, and/or Part 121, or equivalent military flight experience.

1,500 hours Total Flight Time.

500 hours Turbine Time.

500 hours Multi-Engine Time.

200 hours Instrument Flight Time.
Minimum Requirements for Pilot:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field, or 9+ years of relevant experience.

5+ years of flight experience as an FAA Commercial Rated Pilot conducting passenger transportation operations under Part 91, Part 135, and/or Part 121, or equivalent military flight experience.

2,500 hours Total Flight Time.

500 hours Turbojet PIC Time.

1,000 hours Multi-Engine Time.

250 hours Instrument Flight Time.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong working knowledge of aircraft systems and operating requirements.

In-depth knowledge of Federal regulations and standards for aircraft flight operations.

Proficiency in computer office skills, including flight planning, scheduling, word processing, and expensing software.
Minimum Certificates, Licenses, etc.:

Commercial, Multi-Engine Land, Instrument rated Pilot license.

FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.

At least 1 Turbojet-powered airplane type rating.
Desired Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.

Challenger 300/350 type rating or at least 1 Turbojet-powered airplane type rating.
