This position requires a minimum age of 21. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent; a four-year college degree in Aviation is preferred. The applicant must be legally authorized to work in the USA and demonstrate fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language. The role requires the ability to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid passport is necessary, along with authorization to travel to all countries served by the airline.
Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, drug test, motor vehicle driving record (MVR) review, and PRIA records check, meeting all company, FAA, and DOT requirements.
The candidate must fulfill one of the following flight hour requirements: 1,500 total hours, or have graduated from a Restricted ATP authorized institution with: 1,250 hours and an Associate's Degree with Aviation Major; 1,000 hours and a Bachelor's Degree with Aviation Major; or 750 flight hours if military-trained and qualified. Required experience also includes a minimum of 25 hours Multi-Engine Land, 100 hours Night, 75 hours Instrument, and 500 hours Cross Country (reducible to 200**). Additionally, the candidate should have 250 hours PIC Airplane, 50 hours Multi-Engine Land, 100 Hours PIC Airplane Cross Country, and 25 hours PIC Airplane Night*.
*Night PIC time may be a combination of SIC and PIC time if the SIC time was acquired in operations requiring a SIC under FAR.
** A restricted ATP will be issued to applicants with less than 500 cross country hours.
