Position Summary
The First Officer serves as the second-in-command of the aircraft, directly supporting the Captain in all aspects of flight operations. This pivotal role demands a high degree of professionalism, unwavering adherence to safety protocols, and a steadfast commitment to operational excellence. In the event of the Captain's incapacitation, the First Officer is fully prepared and authorized to assume command of the aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with the Captain to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely conduct of all flights.
- Perform meticulous pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties in strict accordance with company policies, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive and current understanding of all aircraft systems, performance characteristics, and operational limitations of the CRJ fleet.
- Actively participate in Crew Resource Management (CRM) to foster effective communication, decisive decision-making, and robust teamwork within the flight deck.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, company directives, and standard operating procedures to maintain the highest levels of safety and compliance.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- A minimum of 1500 total flight hours (any aircraft type).
- Current and active Airman Certificate with an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written certification.
- Current Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (RATP) certificate.
- Current and active FAA Medical Certificate: First Class Medical Certificate requested; Second Class Medical Certificate required.
- Current and active U.S. Passport.
