Role Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner will be instrumental in providing comprehensive HR support and strategic guidance to Edelweiss's critical operational divisions, encompassing flight operations, cabin crew, and ground staff. This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented professional capable of navigating the complexities of the aviation industry while upholding exemplary HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading talent acquisition strategies for operational roles, ensuring the recruitment of highly skilled aviation personnel.
- Managing employee relations, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture, and resolving workplace issues effectively.
- Implementing and overseeing performance management processes, promoting employee growth and development.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all internal HR policies, aviation industry regulations, and applicable Swiss labor laws.
- Providing expert HR consultation and coaching to operational leadership and employees.
- Contributing to the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives that support the broader objectives of the Operations Center.
- Supporting training and development programs tailored for aviation staff.
Qualifications
- A proven track record of success in human resources, with significant experience gained within the aviation sector or a similarly demanding operational environment.
- A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is essential.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, enabling effective collaboration across all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure operational setting.
- Fluent command of both German and English is required; French or other languages are an advantage.
- Thorough understanding of Swiss labor regulations and best practices in HR.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
