Mandatory Qualifications and Pilot Requirements
Prospective applicants are required to meet the following non-negotiable standards:
- License Requirements: Candidates must possess a current and valid EASA Part-FCL license, which may include an ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR, or an MPL license.
- Medical Certification: A current, unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Type Rating and Experience: Applicants must hold a valid Airbus A320 Type Rating. Furthermore, documentation confirming a minimum of 800 flight hours flown on the Airbus A320 family aircraft is essential.
- Instrument Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in specialized navigation is required, evidenced by a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR) with Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) authorization.
- Language Competency: Exceptional communication skills are critical for flight safety and operational efficiency. Applicants must demonstrate very good proficiency in German (a minimum B2 language level must be provable, particularly if German is not the applicant's native or everyday language). Additionally, good conversational skills in English, achieving a minimum of ICAO Level 4, are required.
