First Officer, Hawker 800XP
Location: Must reside within one hour of Miami International Airport (MIA)

Purpose of Position:
Eastern Airlines operates a Hawker 800XP aircraft, based in Miami, FL, under Part 91 regulations. This aircraft is flown approximately 360 hours annually and supports a team of one Pilot in Command (PIC), one First Officer (SIC), and a dedicated maintenance technician. An additional part-time pilot contractor assists with scheduling and time off.
The First Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the aircraft operates safely, efficiently, and in strict adherence to all company and regulatory requirements. They are responsible for delivering a superior service experience to every passenger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PIC to ensure safe and compliant flight operations.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Perform comprehensive weather and facility checks along the flight route, including alternate airports.
- Uphold strict adherence to Eastern Airlines policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritize the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all trip paperwork.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with an HS-125 Type Rating.
- Complete Simulator Training within the past 24 months (CAE or Flight Safety).
- Maintain a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum Flight Experience:
- 1500 hours total time
- 1000 hours PIC
- 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC
- 100 hours Turbine Time
- 250 hours in Type (Hawker 800XP)
- Possess a valid passport.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Pass drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug tests, and criminal history records check (CHRC).

- Excellent communication skills are required, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with team members and customers in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility is essential, as scheduling is variable and may include 10 on/10 off, 8 on/6 off, or similar rotations. Candidates must be willing and able to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
