Pilot in Command (PIC) – Hawker 800XP/900XP

Full-Time – Atlanta, GA

Jet Linx, a premier private aviation company, is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for its Midsize jet fleet, specifically for Hawker 800XP/900XP aircraft. This full-time position is based in Atlanta, GA, and involves comprehensive Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a 2-hour call-out radius of the Atlanta base.

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command holds a critical role, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This individual is responsible for meticulously preparing and executing the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages flight, duty, and rest periods in strict compliance with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintains consistent communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reporting, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
  • Proficiently manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Verifies the currency and accuracy of all navigation charts, aviation publications, and company operational manuals.
  • Maintains a current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate at all times.
  • Consistently demonstrates strong, proactive, and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Embodies and upholds Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

Flight Hours:

  • Total Time: 3500 hours
  • Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
  • Total Time in Type (Hawker 800XP/900XP): 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument Time: 300 hours

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Current U.S. Driver's License (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid Passport with unrestricted travel capability to Canada and Caribbean countries.

Additional Requirements:

  • Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as required.
  • Ability to consent to and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work primarily conducted in and around aircraft and airport terminals.

Compensation & Benefits

Jet Linx offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package to its team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary will be determined based on geographic location, aircraft size, specific crew position, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
