Hawker 900XP Captain
Silver Air is seeking an experienced Hawker 900XP Captain to join its dedicated team. The Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft, ensuring all flights adhere to the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a collaborative aviation professional who is committed to operational excellence and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status to confirm airworthiness.
- Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Evaluating weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route, including potential alternate airports.
- Operating the flight in strict compliance with Silver Air's policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintaining the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
- Accurately completing all necessary trip paperwork according to current procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Total flight time in all aircraft: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) time in all aircraft: 3000 hours
- Multi-engine time: 3000 hours
- Multi-engine PIC time: 2000 hours
- Total time in airplane type (HS-125 or comparable aircraft): 200 hours
- PIC time in airplane type: 100 hours
- Type rating on HS-125 or comparable aircraft.
- Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 pertaining to multi-pilot international commercial air transport operations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial pilot travel to/from Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Total Turbine time: 1750 hours
- Previous experience operating under Part 135 regulations.
