The Role

Draken Europe is seeking a highly skilled and professional First Officer to join its operating base in Northern Ireland. This pivotal role involves providing essential support for current and future contracts utilizing BN2T Islander aircraft.

The successful candidate will demonstrate diligence, professionalism, and the ability to operate effectively within a small, cohesive team. This role demands a self-motivated, proactive, and flexible individual capable of adapting to the rigorous and dynamic demands of a military flying schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safe operation of aircraft in strict adherence to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and company operations manuals.
• Collaborating effectively with the Captain to maintain the highest standards of flight safety.
• Providing comprehensive assistance with mission planning, detachment organization, and broader Flight Operations business functions as required.
• Conducting occasional single-pilot transit flights.
• Supporting worldwide detachments, as necessitated by operational requirements.
• Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested by management, commensurate with the incumbent's capabilities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

As a First Officer, the experience and qualifications should include:

• Eligibility for UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
• Possession of, or actively working towards, a Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) [CPL(A)].
• Valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR).
• Completion of a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course.
• Completion of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), where applicable.
• A minimum of 200 hours total flight time.
