Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2,500 flight hours is required.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 500 PIC hours is necessary.
- Type Rating: A type rating is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Essential Flight Time Notes:
- Candidates must hold a valid EASA ATPL. A UK CAA ATPL and associated medical certificate are desirable but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 500 hours of Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time is required.
- 250 hours of Multi-Pilot Instrument Time (MPI) is a prerequisite.
- A valid MCC Course certificate or an MP Rating on an EASA License is essential.
- An advanced UPRT (Unusual Attitude Recovery Training) qualification is required. Alternatively, candidates must have completed the training and checking in accordance with ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part-ORO) to Regulation (EU) NO 965-2012 within the preceding three years.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) and Corporate Operations is highly desirable.
- Required License: An ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is mandatory.
- Eligible License Holders: Applications are open to EASA license holders.
- Medical Certificate: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): A minimum ICAO ELP Level 5 is necessary.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided.
Additional Requirements for Successful Candidacy
- Candidates must possess a valid passport.
- Must have the legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK.
- Must be able to travel freely into and out of Europe, and to all destinations served by Flexjet.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and undertake overnight trips is essential.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of initial training, which includes obtaining a Type Rating on the assigned fleet.
- A thorough working knowledge of all applicable EASA and UK aviation regulations is expected.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities are crucial.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are necessary to excel in this role.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, email, and web-based systems, is required.
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment are paramount.
- A well-groomed and professional appearance is expected.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
