Flexjet: Experienced Pilot Position - Corporate Aviation (Europe & UK)

Flexjet, a distinguished leader in fractional jet ownership and global private aviation, invites applications from highly experienced and professional aviators to join its growing European and UK flight operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and client-focused operation of advanced corporate aircraft. Comprehensive initial training and a fleet-specific type rating are provided.

Minimum Technical Qualifications & Flight Time Requirements

Candidates are required to meet the following non-negotiable experience criteria:

  • Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours minimum.
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours minimum.
  • Specific Multi-Crew Experience: 500 hours of Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time.
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours of Multi-Pilot Instrument Time (MPIT).
  • License Requirement: Must hold a valid EASA ATPL. (A UK CAA ATPL and associated Medical certificate are desirable but not mandatory).
  • Medical Requirement: Must possess a current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Language Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
  • Training Certificates: A Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) course certificate or an MP Rating on the EASA License is mandatory.
  • UPRT Qualification: Applicants must hold an advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) qualification, or demonstrate completion of the required training and checking (in accordance with ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III) within the preceding three years.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) and corporate aviation operations is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • A fleet type rating is not required as training will be provided by Flexjet.

Operational and Professional Requirements

The role demands a high level of professionalism, regulatory expertise, and logistical flexibility:

  • The candidate must possess the legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK. (Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position).
  • Must hold a valid Passport and maintain the ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all global destinations served by Flexjet.
  • Flexibility is essential, including the ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and undertake overnight trips as necessitated by the flight schedule.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of all applicable EASA and UK aviation regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities are essential for efficient operation.
  • The aviator must possess strong interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills suitable for a high-end corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web-based applications is required.
  • Must possess a passionate attention to detail and a commitment to working effectively within a team atmosphere.
  • A consistently well-groomed and professional appearance must be maintained.
  • Employment is strictly conditional upon the successful completion of all aspects of Initial Training, which includes the assigned fleet Type Rating.
