Key Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2500 hours of flight experience is required.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: Candidates must possess at least 500 hours of PIC time.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided by Flexjet.
- Flight Time Notes:
- A valid EASA ATPL is mandatory. A UK CAA ATPL and Medical are considered advantageous but not essential.
- Includes 500 hours of Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time.
- Includes 250 hours of Multi-Pilot Instrument (MPI) time.
- Possession of an MCC Course certificate or an MP Rating on an EASA License is required.
- Must hold an advanced UPRT qualification or have completed, within the preceding 3 years, the training and checking in accordance with ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part-ORO) to Regulation (EU) No 965/2012.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) and Corporate operations is highly desirable.
- License Requirements: A valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is essential.
- License Holders Open To: Applications are welcomed from EASA license holders.
- Medical Certificate: A valid Class 1 Medical certificate is required.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): A minimum ICAO ELP level of 5 is necessary.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Additional Candidate Attributes and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Possession of a valid passport.
- Legal authorization to work in Europe and/or the UK, with the flexibility to travel internationally to all destinations served by Flexjet.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight trips.
- The ability to successfully complete the required Initial Training, which includes obtaining a Type Rating for the assigned fleet.
- A thorough understanding of all applicable EASA and UK aviation regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity for advanced multi-tasking.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, crucial for performing duties effectively.
- Proficiency in using essential computer applications, including word processing, email, and web-based platforms.
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- A professional and well-groomed appearance.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
