Minimum Requirements for Aviation Professionals
Prospective candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2500 hours of total flight experience.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot in Command.
- Type Rating: A type rating is not a mandatory prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Flight Time and Certification Notes:
- Possession of a valid EASA ATPL is required. A UK CAA ATPL and Medical are desirable but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 500 hours of Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time is necessary.
- A minimum of 250 hours of Multi-Pilot Instrument (MPI) time is required.
- A valid MCC Course certificate or MP Rating on an EASA License is essential.
- An advanced UPRT qualification is mandatory, or training and checking must have been completed within the preceding 3 years in accordance with ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part-ORO) to Regulation (EU) NO 965-2012.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience within Commercial Air Transport (CAT) and Corporate operations is considered advantageous.
- License Requirements: An ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) is the primary license requirement.
- Open to License Holders: Candidates holding EASA licenses are welcomed.
- Medical Certificate: A valid Class 1 Medical certificate is mandatory.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): A minimum ICAO ELP level of 5 is required.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided.
Additional Essential Qualifications and Attributes
In addition to the technical requirements, candidates must possess the following:
- A valid passport.
- The legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK, with the ability to travel internationally into and out of Europe, and to all destinations served by Flexjet.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and undertake overnight trips.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of initial training, which includes obtaining a type rating for the assigned fleet.
- A thorough working knowledge of all applicable EASA and UK aviation regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills are imperative for performing duties at the expected professional standard.
- Proficiency in using essential computer applications, including word processing, email, and web-based platforms.
- A passionate attention to detail and the capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- A consistently well-groomed and professional appearance.
