The Role: Aircraft Co-Pilot

The Aircraft Co-Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company’s Gulfstream G280 business jet. This role requires collaboration with a team of experienced aviation professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism across all flight operations.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements

The Co-Pilot's primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assisting the Aircraft Captain throughout all phases of flight operations, ensuring strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.
• Participating actively in comprehensive pre-flight planning processes, including detailed weather analysis, route optimization, and accurate aircraft performance calculations.
• Supporting essential post-flight duties, which encompass meticulous documentation, thorough debriefs, and maintaining optimal aircraft readiness for subsequent missions.
• Maintaining an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and executive customer service.
• Demonstrating necessary flexibility and availability for varied work schedules, including coverage during nights, weekends, and holidays, in line with global corporate travel demands.

Essential Professional Requirements

Candidates must possess the following mandatory qualifications:

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Current FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• A valid passport granting unrestricted eligibility for international travel.
• Willingness to work varied hours and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following qualifications:

• Completion of a Crew Resource Management (CRM) or CTP Course, or holding a Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Current Gulfstream G280 Type Rating (highly advantageous).
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications such as Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instrument Instructor (MEII).
• The ability to be based in Austin or Central Texas, or willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation and Benefits

Dell Technologies is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation (TTC) range for this demanding position, which includes base salary and commissions, is set between $123,250 and $159,500.
