DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Manager, Aircraft Delivery and Cabin Support, the Delivery and Cabin Specialist will be the focal point for all new aircraft delivery support related to the Flight and Cabin Crew operations. This position will be responsible for ensuring that Falcon flight and cabin crews are familiar with the cabin management, entertainment, and connectivity systems installed in their aircraft and address any of their operational concerns raised during the delivery process. This position will be responsible to ensure that cabin operational related support is provided to the DFJ Delivery team (CCAs) during the delivery process as well as to the DFJ Sales & Spec/Design Team in their efforts. The position will act as a key coordination point between the DFJ Pilot Operational Support Team, the DFJ Flight Ops Dept, as well as DSOF for all matters related to cabin operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Ensure Cabin Operational support is provided to Flight and Cabin Crews
  • Provide timely and technically accurate answers to Flight and Cabin Crew
  • Coordinate, Organize and share info/feedback with the DSOF Cabin Team
  • Support the effort to maintain and administer the Dassault Pilot Application assistance, coordinate and provide feedback to the WW Pilot Support Teams
  • Review and or draft Service Documentation related to operational support

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Ensure technical knowledge base (FAQs) associated with Cabin Systems is maintained
  • Ensure training vendors are informed and up to speed on existing and new cabin systems
  • Organize and develop presentations and briefings for Falcon customer deliveries, seminars, dedicated virtual or onsite ops briefings
  • Provide documented feedback regarding any significant input from operators which may improve or promote the current or future Dassault products
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned in order to meet departmental or business objectives as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Aviation or equivalent science/engineering degree or 4 years equivalent aviation/operations work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc)
  • Desire, interest, and understanding of business aviation
  • Current passport

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Highly Desired:

  • Understanding of Falcon aircraft cabin, connectivity, and entertainment systems
  • Knowledge of Commercial aviation, General/Business aviation aircraft preferred
  • 2 years of experience dealing with aircraft operations, preferably corporate jets, and especially Falcons
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and work with minimal supervision
  • Highly self-motivated and independent
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be able to effectively manage deadlines and customer requests
  • FAA-licensed aircraft fixed-wing pilot
  • Helpful
  • 2 or more years of analyzing data to identify trends in order to manage quality
  • Knowledge of company procedures and organization
  • Knowledge of aviation technical communications and regulations
  • Proficiency with “OneNote”
  • Proficient with “Siebel”
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in French

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Primarily a day shift (8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. M-F) with some schedule flexibility to accommodate travel and coordination with DSOF as well as with our Flight Dept
  • Office/desk, presentation hall and aircraft hangar environments
  • Use of telephone, personal computer, iPad and various mobile communication devices
  • Travel, both domestic and international, occasional extended periods of travel away from home base
  • Potential annual travel to France for DSOF support and interaction expected
  • Balance and coordinate personal administrative duties related to company travel and expenses
