Second-in-Command Pilot
Cutter Aviation is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable aviation professional to serve as a Second-in-Command (SIC) Pilot. This role is integral to the company, serving as a primary point of contact and an external representative to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the broader business aviation community. The SIC Pilot is expected to be an exceptional relationship builder with a strong drive to provide world-class customer service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide world-class, uncompromising service to clients.
- Function as SIC on CE680A aircraft during Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations.
- Demonstrate adaptability to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to flight operations, pilot qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
- Adhere to established procedures for reporting irregularities during flights and ground checks, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, and Pilot in Command (PIC).
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1000 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 500 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours.
- Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate OR an FAA Commercial Airman Certificate with an Instrument Rating.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- No accidents, incidents, or sanctions within the past 5 years.
- Knowledge of general aviation aircraft, their service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers.
- Ability to train and guide another SIC pilot in performing their functions.
- A genuine desire to assist customers and contribute as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications:
- CE680A Type Rating.
- Current Part 135.293/297 qualification in type.
- Previous training at FSI or Simuflite.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must possess a clean driving record.
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
