Role Summary
The Human Resources Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top talent essential to Clay Lacy Aviation's operational excellence. This individual will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and aviation-specific regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with talent acquisition, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes for various roles across flight operations, maintenance, and administrative departments.
- Supporting employee relations, engagement initiatives, and performance management programs.
- Administering compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness and competitiveness within the aviation sector.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and contributing to HR information systems.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as industry-specific aviation regulations.
- Providing support for HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Assisting with training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth within the aviation environment.
- Contributing to a safe, productive, and respectful work environment for all Clay Lacy Aviation team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the aviation, aerospace, or a similarly regulated industry.
- A strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
